REMEMBER RWANDA

This piece I have done...Came from the heart...I was in tears when I completed this...

This is dedicated to the people of Rwanda...

A beautiful, yet tragic nation...

Close to 1,000,000 INNOCENT people where killed...

Why?

- Because their Rwandan I.D. said that they were Tutsi...

- Because they were Hutu, trying to help Tutsis escape the horrible deaths...

- Because looked like a "Tutsi"...

- Because they would not bow down to "Hutu Power"...

In April of 1994...The Country of Rwanda became the African killing fields...Hundreds of Thousands of Men, Women, and Children where massacred in the Streets of Kigali, Gitarama, and other cities in Rwanda...

Hundreds of Thousands were:

Beaten, Machetéed, Shot, Lynched, Burned...To DEATH...

While the West...Turned their heads and allowed this to happen...When lives could have been saved...

Things like this make me want to become an United Nations Official...To make sure nothing like this EVER HAPPENS AGAIN...

I ask you everyone...Wear TWO black ribbons this week...One for the Pope who condemned the killings and one for the people of Rwanda...

I have a friend...Who is a Tutsi Rwandan SURVIVOR...I am with her for her cousins, her aunts, her uncles, her other friends...

I read an article that really made me hurt...A Red Cross Helper was forced to watch "Interwahame", Hutu militants, slaughter an orphanage full of innocent Tutsi children...The Red Cross Helper watched a little girl...Little Tutsi girl...Before she was cut up, the Tutsi girl said to the Red Cross Helper:

- "Please Miss...Don't let them cut me up...I promise I won't be Tutsi anymore..."

Please Everyone...Wear 2 black ribbons...Let the everyone you are remembering the "Rwandan genocide"...
