Built along Eugene Demontfort Avenue all the way to the Clocktower, the Sambadrome makes its way.
Erected with giant portable bleachers capable of holding 40,000 people and grossing over $2,000,000 in sales presented by the Kingston Family, it will soon become the onle place in California where people's hearts beat the loudest.

Prices are very Reasonable and the parades are spectacular. The color code can help you figure out the prices and benefits.

Gold: Center Sambadrome Level "Judges Booths" (Camarotes Centre Deluxés ) - $150.00
Best seats in the house. Center of the Sambadrome, Up close, Watch the perfomances of each parade wing. Comes with free buffet.

Green: Sambadrome Level (Camarotes) - $120.00
Very good seats. Up close to the parade, Interact with the parade sambistas and floats. Comes with free buffet.

Purple: Central Deluxe Bleachers (Grande Arquibancadas Deluxés) - $60.00
Nice Seats. Center of Sambadrome, Watch the perfomances of each parade wing.

Blue: Bleachers (Arquibancadas) - $50.00
Good Seats. Set along the Sambadrome, Great view of parade evolution, Near the refreshment vendors.

Red: Big Bleachers (Arquibancadas Grandes) - $35.00
Fair seats. Very affordable. Points at the beginning and end of parade. Usually for last minute buyers.

Before you say, "Those tickets are EXPENSIVE!", Let me explain what they get you.

Each ticket pays for two parades. The Blocos Parade and the Carnaval Parade.

Blocos Parade is a walk of music and dance. Each Bloco has a "Moving Concert Vehicle" with sambistas wearing similar costumes singing the Bloco Enredo. After the parade has reached the center of the Sambadrome, A Music Celebrity on the Moving Concert Vehicle sings any song they like for any amount of time and moves on. The enredo, costumes, and evolution will be judged The parade must br finished before 30 minutes is up.

Carnaval Parade is the Main Event. A parade of color, music, song, special effects, and dance. Each samba school goes all out.
It's all or nothing! Each school will be competing for the Grand Prize of $750,000 and the championship. Almost everything will be judged. Each school has a time limit of 45 minutes (minimum) and 1 hour (maximum). Everything counts!

After the champion is crowned, the winning university cancels class for one day and allow a "Champion Parade" on campus. The Parade will have every the winning school had in the Carnaval parade or Bloco Parade.
